How we find, verify, and publish coupon codes and deals - and the standards we hold ourselves to.
Our Mission & Editorial Promise
Luvin Deals was built in 2024 by a team of regional performance marketers who were tired of clicking "apply code" and watching it fail at checkout. We help shoppers across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt find coupon codes and deals that actually work - sourced directly from merchants, tested by real people, and updated fast when something changes.
"We didn't want to build another scraper site pulling random codes off forums. We wanted a platform we'd trust enough to use ourselves - where every code on the page has actually been checked." - Syed Waseem Afzal, Founder & CEO, Luvin Deals
In practice, this means:
- We source directly from merchants. Codes come from brand and retailer partnerships our team negotiates and manages - not from public forums, scraped listings, or unverified third-party feeds.
- We test before we publish. Every code is checked before it goes live on the site.
- We move fast when something breaks. If a merchant pauses a campaign or a code stops working, we aim to remove or update it within four hours. Other live campaigns from that same merchant are not affected - we only pull what's actually stopped.
- We rank by usefulness to you, not by commission. How much a store pays us has no bearing on how prominently its code is displayed.
- We tell you what a code actually applies to. Minimum spend, exclusions, new-vs-existing-user terms, and payment restrictions (like Tabby/Tamara not accepting most codes) are noted where we know them.
- We're upfront about what can go wrong. Merchants change terms without notice sometimes. We'd rather say so than pretend every code works 100% of the time, forever.
Our Team
Luvin Deals was founded by Syed Waseem Afzal, whose background is in MENA-focused adtech and digital transformation, including founding Platformance, a regional adtech venture. Luvin Deals grew out of that same performance-marketing background - full founder bio .
Today the team behind Luvin Deals is 30+ people strong, organized around a few core functions:
Merchant Partnerships & Sourcing This team negotiates directly with brands and retailers to bring codes onto the platform, manages the relationship on an ongoing basis, and is the first to know when a campaign pauses, changes terms, or ends. It's led by Shaimaa Sameer Abdelhalim (Head of Merchant Partnerships & Coupon Sourcing, 7 years' experience), supported by a team of Merchant Partnerships Executives handling onboarding, negotiation, and day-to-day merchant communication.
Verification & Monitoring Every code is checked before publishing, and live codes are monitored on an ongoing basis so we catch expirations and eligibility changes quickly rather than waiting for a shopper to report them. This function includes dedicated verification tooling and automation work led by our Coupon Verification & Automation Lead.
You can read full bios for individual team members on our Authors page, including Arbaz Khan (SEO Strategist) and other contributors.
Content Our content team writes and reviews the store pages, guides, and shopping tips you see on the site - in both English and Arabic - so listings are clear about what a code actually covers, not just what the headline discount says.
How We Source & Verify Codes
Where our codes come from
We source coupon codes and deals directly from merchants - through partnership agreements our Merchant Partnerships team negotiates and manages. We do not pull codes from public coupon forums, scraped aggregator lists, or unverified third-party submissions. If a code is on Luvin Deals, someone on our team can trace it back to a direct merchant relationship.
What we check
Before a code is published, our team confirms:
- The code applies and the discount calculates as described
- Any minimum spend or cart value requirements
- Product or category exclusions
- Whether it's limited to new customers, existing customers, or works for both
- Known payment-method restrictions (for example, most retailer codes don't apply when paying via Tabby or Tamara - this is a store policy, not a broken code)
- Expiry timing, where the merchant has communicated one
How we keep codes current
Verification doesn't stop once a code is live. We stay in ongoing contact with merchant partners, so when a campaign is paused or a code is pulled, we know from the source - not after shoppers start reporting failures. Combined with regular internal checks:
- We aim to remove or update a broken or expired code within four hours of confirming it no longer works.
- Pausing one campaign doesn't affect others. If a merchant ends one specific offer, any other active codes or deals from that same merchant stay live and unaffected.
- Shopper reports help us move faster. If you hit a code that doesn't work, reporting it (see below) helps us catch and fix it sooner.
What we can't guarantee
- Merchants can change or end a campaign without advance notice, and there can be a short gap before we catch it.
- Some codes are restricted to specific products, categories, or cart values.
- Codes tied to one country's store won't necessarily work on that same brand's site in another market - we label region where we know it matters.
- Payment method can affect eligibility (see the Tabby/Tamara note above).
We'd rather be upfront about these limits than imply every code works for every shopper, every time.
Content Standards
- Clear labeling. Coupon codes and no-code deals are shown as what they are - we don't disguise one as the other to drive clicks.
- Accurate descriptions. Store pages include the conditions we know: minimum spend, exclusions, new-vs-existing-user terms, and similar restrictions.
- Editorial independence. Placement and ranking are based on relevance and value to shoppers. A merchant paying a higher commission does not get better placement.
- Human review. Every article is researched and written by a member of our content team, then manually reviewed by our SEO team before publishing. Where information comes from an external source, we credit it. We may use AI-assisted tools to support research, but our team writes and fact-checks every article before it goes live.
When something's wrong
- Report it: Flag a broken code or incorrect listing directly on the store page, or contact us / email [email protected].
- We investigate and fix, we don't leave it live. Once a broken code or inaccurate listing is confirmed, we update or remove it - our four-hour target applies here too.
- Our browser extension also helps catch failures faster in the field - add it here.
How We Make Money
Luvin Deals is free to use - no account, no subscription, no fees, ever.
When you use a code or deal from our site and complete a purchase, we may earn a commission from that retailer. A few things worth knowing:
- You never pay more. The commission comes from the retailer's marketing budget, not from your price. You pay the same whether you found the code here or elsewhere.
- Not every listing earns us money. We list codes for stores across fashion, beauty, electronics, home, and more - including some where we have no commercial relationship at all.
- Commission doesn't buy placement. Our editorial/content work and our merchant-partnerships work are separate functions; how a store is ranked or displayed isn't determined by how much it pays us.
We do not currently offer paid or sponsored placements. Every code and deal on Luvin Deals is on the site because our team sourced and verified it, not because a merchant paid for visibility. If that ever changes, we'd clearly label any sponsored or promoted listing and hold it to the same verification standard as everything else on the site.
